Double-Click on any column and a real Edit in Place will open the column for you or for a BLOB a new window will open up displaying the content

Change the value and save the record by using the 'Save to File' button which will appear after 'accepting' the EIP column .....
Main Frame ToolBar EIP DropDown Box : from this box you can dynamically change the way the EIP performs after any changed value with the Enter Key :
Select from the choices
EIP & Move down will save the new value and remaining in EIP mode move DOWN one Record (same Column)
EIP & Move Right will save the new value and remaining in EIP mode move RIGHT one Column
EIP & Stay in Col. will save the new value and remain in the selected Column and stop EIP
BLOB Viewer :
For all BLOB columns a special window with embedded pre viewers will open up - choosing for you the correct TAB to use if possible
Otherwise you select the TAB corresponding to the TYPE of the Blob and you will visualize it's content and be able to insert a new file in it or extract to HD etc ....
Some Tabs have special built in extra features like the PDF one hereunder or the SWF and VIDEO ones
You can change the EIP mode to use from the TOP FRAME (without having to close and open "Settings")
In the XLS tab when viewing an EXCEL sheet you will have access to all Excels features
When an empty BLOB is opened (or when you want to change the content format) : select the new TYPE by selecting the corresponding TAB - then use the Select & Save button to load the file in BLOB (click on SAVE or cancel)
To empty a BLOB insert in the TEXT TAB a space and SAVE
When "loading" this BLOB window - if the previously opened BLOB was a LARGE file - it will take some TIME to open up (this is due to freeing memory from the previous one)

For DATE columns a popup calendar can be used to select a value

On the main screen the button "Save" (to File) will then be displayed for you to save this modification to File
If the table you are working on contains error in the KEYS then DMC will not be able to update the values and will report this with a message and also automatically start the BUILD KEYS features so as to try and recover full access to the table
(you will then have to restart your process of modifications)
