Compare Structures of a complete DB or a single Tps-Dat-SQL Table to a single or multiple Table(s)
Task definition
This task will allow you compare the STRUCTURES of two or more Tables.
(selecting a Parent Table in SchemaA and a Child Table in SchemaB is allowed for SQL Tasks)
Step One
Select the TYPE of Parent and Child Tables to use :
* Tps-Dat to Tps-Dat : a single Parent Table will be compared to another Child Table [Tps SuperFiles and/or encrypted Tables allowed]
* Tps-Dat to SQL : a single Parent File [Tps SuperFiles and/or encrypted Tables allowed] will be compared to one or several SQL Child Table(s)
* Sql to Sql : a single Parent SQL Table will be compared to one or several other SQL Child Table(s) (inter-schemas allowed)
* Sql DB to Sql DB : a Parent Database content (selecting all or not Tables) will be compared to another SQL DataBase content (Tables will be "linked" by NAME)
Step Two
Click on the "Continue" button to start the Task (and select tables)
Trace (Log File) option : will generate a log file for you to have a Step by Step detailed report on the task
