Data Management Center uses Setup Builder from Linder Software

 

ALL INSTALLATION - UPDATING FEATURES ARE ONLY ACCESSIBLE TO ADMINISTRATOR ACCOUNTS UNDER WINDOWS

 

We provide a brand new installer & updater to take care of the following points :

 

1. Vista & Windows 7 Installations : The program is offered to be installed in "Program Files" and the data in "COMMON_DOCUMENTS" directory of the User (you can of course change those two settings to anything - even only one - you wish)

2. The installer can be used as an updater

3. Both the installer and updater recognizes your default language and sets it accordingly (defaults to English)

4. Both the installer and updater are XP - Windows Vista - Windows 2008 and Windows 7 compatible also.

5. In both installer and updater we have added the verification of 4 main settings : Company Name - Serial Number - Installation Path and Maintenance Plan . If several fails (depending on which) then the installer - updater will inform you if this situation with a special info screen (all those values are read from various sources on your computer) and offer to install-update to a new Evaluation version - if the installation path is present then you will see this screen :

(as mentioned a backup copy of all your previous data will be done in "installdir/cgf_import_bak" for you to restore some files if need be)

 

but if the installation path is empty then you will see this screen (no backup being possible) :

In both these cases an new EVALUATION version will be installed on your machine

 

6. In the installer if a previous version is detected, all will be fine

 

7. Both the Installer and Updater will let you enter - change the Company Name and Serial Number (as received by email confirmation after a purchase) or set to "Demo" and "sales@dmc-fr.c.om" in Evaluation mode

8. Both the Installer and Updater will let you fill in (if need be) a new Maintenance Plan :

 

As you can see, now you will have the possibility directly in the installer or updater the change any of your settings if these have changed since your last installation

 

Of course in the case of a first Evaluation installation all these fields will be pre filled for you - please do not change them.

 

Updating the application on Internet

You can Download the latest published version (if your MP is current)
