General Settings :

Always use the "TAB" key to validate an entry field and navigate to the next one.

In any message displayed, you can use the "Enter" or "Escape" keys to accept or refuse it

You can hide - unhide the Left navigation Panel (you have more surface visible onscreen) with this icon in the main frame toolbar taskpanel

The "ODBC" module as well as the main "Data Management" one are both automatically set to full width for easier use.

Always use the "TAB" key to navigate between fields - this tells the application to save the entry field value entered

Use the Main frame toolbar buttons to Insert - Edit - Delete records in all the modules navigation_buttons

You have to close some Modules to be able to open others but you can also, for example, open ODBC and directly open Profiles .....ODBC will be closed automatically

You also have in the main frame two buttons which come alive only when you are in the Import/Export module and only when you are in the 'DATA' tab or the 'Column Mapping' one :

Those buttons will let you export to HTML-PDF-DOC-CSV-XLS all the SOURCE data records you are about to work on OR all your MAPPINGS done

You also will have the possibility to eMail or FTP those exported files ....

Stopping a Transfer process :

You have in the main frame toolbar a button which opens up only while you are transferring your Data

If you click on it a Confirmation Message will popup to let you Cancel or Continue the processing

If you click on 'Yes' the transfer will be canceled ....

When doing an ODBC SQL transfer, this button will only be visible while the sql script is created. While the same sql script is executed you will have another window in the middle of the screen to cancel it also

By clicking on the 'Stop' Button, you will again have a confirmation message popup to let you cancel or not the sql insertion

If you click on 'Yes' the transfer will be canceled ...

Screen resolutions :

The main frame is resizable and this feature will let you adapt the screen to your best preferences - you will also, from the "Settings" module be able to adjust the Font name and Size to refine even better the Tools appearance.

The initial position will be restored at each application opening

All the inner screens are 800x600 compatible

Interface & User Options :

In Setup - Settings your have the possibility to define the Font Name and Size for the complete application

You can also define the Color on Font to be used in all Listboxes

You also have a checkbox to generate the proper data when debugging and logging transfers with Microsoft OutDebug Function (careful : if you do not have this seperate tool installed you migth get errors)

You can also define if for all TRANSFERS you prefer reading only e first 50 records before the Mapping tab (the rest of data will then be read after clicking on the "Transfer" button

This speeds up enormously the process of showing you the mapping tab

You can also define is you want to have a "Sum Up" screen displayed when clicking on the main Wizard "Finish" button (this is automatically set to ON in evaluation mode)

it gives you another possibility of canceling a task if need be.
