You have in the Import & Export WIZARD a Trace LOG checkbox which enables you to have a complete LOG file created by DMC for all tasks.
These logs are all in a special directory under 'cgf_import\logs' and you can access then directly from DMC in the Documents Task from the Navigation Panel
These logs can be very helpful for you to understand why a task is not completed
These logs can also be emailed to us to ask our help in a task not completing properly
These logs are also regularly offered to be deleted from your HD : a message will open up when you open DMC the first time on the 1st of each month and offer to delete them
These logs are also - IF they exist - used in our built in emailing feature IF the application crashes in a task when you reopen it

By clicking on the eMail button you will be taken automatically to a module pre filled with all the necessary data (EXCEPT YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS IF UNDER DEMO)
If you are in this situation please fill in your email and send us the email with the log zipped and attached
You just have to check the log file sent - it is displayed for you in Note Pad - check if you want to delete any information's from it before you send it to us for analysis on your problem

Of course you can also chose NOT to send the log by email - this feature will help us (and you at the same time) to better the tool by understanding any eventual problem you encountered
You also have the possibility to ask DMC to generate TRANSFER logs from the MAPPING TAB
Remember that such logs can be VERY important in size if you transfer a large amount of data - we recommend doing a first transfer on say 100 records and to log this one preferable
