ASCII - TXT & CSV

Clarion (DAT)

DBF Tables (Dbase 3 or Dbase 4 Foxpro and Clipper)

Topspeed (TPS)

ODBC (Access - Excel and all SQL's supported and Windev HyperFile)

At this starting point, you can create a New complete process

Select from the radio buttons the desired format - driver

In all Table selection screens you have a LOCATOR entry field to help you : enter the BEGINNING of the Table you are looking for and enter the "TAB" key to bring in view the relevant Name

(depending on your selection you will see these screens - for each format you can use the Extension entry field to select personal files) :

You can select from several File Types (all predefined formats are changeable at later stage if need be

DBF (DBase - FoxPro and Clipper Tables)

You have a special button to select the KEY files corresponding to the selected table

TOPSPEED (TPS)

You can define the Password if need be (automatically stored for further use) and if the table is OEM or not

SQL

A double-click on any Data Base will List automatically all available Tables in the right panel for you to select from

you have the possibility during a Data Transfer Task to enter a NUMBER OF RECORDS TO READ (limited to the FIRST 50)

so as to avoid having to read ALL a HUGE Table and save time for TESTS ONLY

A double-Click on any Table will select it and show you on the bottom of the screen the numbers of records for easier Table selection

You can also Create a New ODBC connection (with the appropriate WIZARD) without loosing pace in the task you are defining.

At this stage the 'Next' Button is enabled for you to carry on defining your task

You can of course change formats - driver simply by using another radio Button and all the screen settings will change automatically
