HowTo do SQL Clone a complete DB or Tps-dat Folder Options
Click in the Image on "Start" to open a Step by Step tutor page
Options you must define
Select the Tables to work on
Double-click on any Table to toggle the selection (the leftmost icon is displayed or not to show the "selected" mode)
Use the "Tag All" - "Untag"all" or "Tag Filled" (Tables with data) buttons for easier multi selections
The EMPTY tables are displayed with a special icon for you to differentiate them.
Create a New DataBase
If you need to create a NEW DataBase check this option box (it will open up the entry field of the NAME to use)
Name of New DB
Fill in the NAME to use for this new DataBase
DMC will also create for you ODBC connection string and add it to the list
TXD Export
If you need to have a SINGLE TXD or DCTX generated for you, check this option box
Having a single TXD will allow you to Import in your DCT ALL the tables in one Task instead of creating a DSN connection and Importing them one by one
Create Profiles
If you want to have ALL the Profiles (with all comumns linked by name in mapping options) created for you (so as to use again or ship to your end-user to use with RT Engine), check this option box
Run created Data Profiles
If you want DMC - at the end of the cloning task - to close and reopen so as to Transfer ALL tables Data, check this option box
Save
Create a Project (named as per the DB Name) to use again OR to ship to your end-users ( RT Engine).
